Murfreesboro City Choir

In a story that only our Sovereign, eternal, creative, good God could compose, two Murfreesboro churches "stumbled" upon one another to discover they had a longing, passion, and vision for the same thing:  to see the people of God in our city living out the command of Jeremiah 29:7.  There the prophet Jeremiah tells the people of God to seek the welfare of the city knowing that in its welfare, they will find their welfare.

Within a few weeks, these churches were faced with the opportunity to minister at the Annual Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting event hosted by Main Street Murfreesboro on Friday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m.  After meeting and praying, we were given the vision to establish a community choir made up of voices from churches all over the city!  We are so excited and we are inviting as many churches as possible to partner with us to reflect the one body of Christ and create one voice to declare the news of our King's birth in song to our community!

Heralding our King's birth on December 6th will be our first event in which to participate together.  Hopefully and prayerfully it will be the first of many, many ways we find to serve our city as the one body of our beloved Savior and King.

We want you to join us as we minister the Gospel through song! The community choir is open to anyone age 6 and up who love to sing God’s praises.  Children under the age of 6 may join if they are singing with a parent or guardian.  If you are interested, please e-mail and we will send you all of the information you need to be part of this service of worship in the streets of our city on December 6th. Or you can simply click on the card below to download a registration card and email it back to us.
