How do I become a member?
At Trinity, we believe that the church is more than a convenient way for Christians to follow Jesus together. The church is the body of Christ, his bride, and the family of God. The church isn't the creation or the idea of people, but of God. Every person whom Jesus Christ calls to himself, he also calls to his church. And though this church is one church across the world and across time, we also believe that Christ has instituted local expressions of his universal church, and that those churches have members and leaders. Those leaders are called to love, serve, shepherd, and care for other members. And all the members are called to love one another. For that reason, we take seriously the process of discerning whether you want to be a member at Trinity.
What do we believe about church membership?
Step one is to come to worship. Come worship alongside us, and see what we believe about our God, who he is, and what he has done and is doing for us. Step two is to get to know our church. You can do this by coming to one of our regular Newcomers' Desserts, coming to one of the smaller gatherings - Christian Education classes, Grow Groups, or Men's, Women's, or Youth Ministry gatherings. Step three is to take our membership class, what we call TPC 101. Our most recent TPC 101 class took place on Feb. 25 - Mar. 10 , 2024. The next class will take place in the Fall of 2024.
